Meditation

I highly recommend that all of my clients meditate daily. There are loads of reasons to meditate, I talk about many of them in my blogs. Aside from those great benefits, the main reason that I ask my clients to meditate is that the most important part of our work together  is developing awareness of what is happening in their minds. Meditation is a perfect way to practice that awareness, while getting the additional fabulous benefits.

I so commonly find that my clients have “tried” to meditate and given up – they tell me “I can’t do it,” or “I am no good at it” I myself have had that same experience often over the last 20 years or so. I would decide, once again, to take up meditation, and find that my mind would just not quite down, would not settle – I could not do it, it was frustrating and un-fulfilling.

IMG_2205 smallHa ha, turns out I was doing just fine after all. I like most of my clients, I had been conned by the Myths of meditation. The myths of what is was supposed to be like, feel like, reach, what I thought a successful meditation was supposed to be. It was all RUBBISH.

There are so many resources to learn how to meditate on the we, go ahead and get started and slowly but surely you will develop and quieter, happier mind, a growing awareness of your thinking, and emotional responses, and a shift in your life experience.
