Meditation is all about learning to pay attention to the crazy that is your mind,
learning to focus your attention at will,
and learning to remove your focus onto something new when it gets caught up.
It does not change the way you relate to your world on a day to day basis by itself
Just like practicing a tennis shot, can make you good at playing that shot, but does not make you good at playing a match.
Of course, it is also true that you can’t be good a playing a match if you are not able to play the shot
Your daily meditation is practicing the shot, your daily life is the match in which you have to know when and how to consciously and specifically work that new shot to get you back to good feeling
